Peaches
Our orchard offers sweet and juicy peaches in peak season from mid-July through September. Early cling stone peaches make an appearance in July and are perfect for fresh eating. Freestone peaches ripen in August and September and are great not only for eating fresh but also for canning, freezing, and dehydrating.
We grow a diverse range of peaches, including 11 varieties of yellow and four varieties of white peaches. The season commences in mid-July with Desiree and Sentry peaches, both excellent for eating. In late July, freestone peaches start ripening, featuring varieties like Red Haven, John Boy, Sun Hi, Coral Star, Contender, Gloria*, Red Skin, Flaming Fury, Autumn Glo, and Laurel. Freestone peaches are available from late July to early September and are perfect for eating fresh, canning, freezing, baking, jams, jellies, and pies as the flesh easily pulls away from the pit.
*Gloria peaches are low acid peaches, due to this fact they are a firm very sweet peach. If used for canning ascorbic acid or lemon juice must be added to the jars.*
We grow both white and yellow donut peaches, with their unique disk-like shape and exceptionally sweet and juicy flesh that's hard to resist. These peaches are ripe for picking in early August.
Our peaches are grown using our safe IPM methods ensuring a safe treat for you and your family.
